100 years
local historical varieties
Grow heirlooms like it was 1899.
We have gathered some new “old” varieties that were once loved and used over a century ago but have fallen out of favor for the next-best-thing or been forgotten to dusty annals of time. These are local varieties that had names, places and stories attached to them. More importantly, these seeds were tied to people.
For 2020, we will be distributing these out to the community far and wide.
Communities and the web of relationships based on reciprocity and connection is what saving seeds is all about. Whether a commercial seed grower or neighborly gardeners - let’s start talking over those fences and share stories with each other.
